Custom Discs for Leagues and Tournaments: How Bulk Orders Actually Work

September 03, 2026

There is no minimum order, and the price per disc drops as the count goes up — from $29.99 for one to $19.99 each at 36. That is the whole pricing model, and unlike most custom printers we publish it rather than making you request a quote. Here is what ordering discs for a league, tournament, or charity event actually involves.

What does a bulk custom disc order cost?

Discounts apply automatically in the cart. No code, no quote, no minimum:

Discs ordered Price each You save
1 $29.99 —
2+ $28.49 5%
6+ $24.99 17%
11+ $22.79 24%
16+ $21.41 29%
25+ $20.56 31%
36+ $19.99 33%

A 40-player league running one disc per player lands around $800. A 24-player charity event is roughly $493. Glow plastic adds a few dollars per disc.

U.S. shipping is free over $50, so every order at this scale ships free.

Can every disc have a different name?

Yes, and this is the part most organizers do not realize is possible. Personalization is per disc, not per order — each disc is its own cart line with its own text. So a league order can carry every player's name, or the same design across all 40, or a mix.

The quantity discount is based on the total disc count, not on how many share a design. Forty different names still price at the 36+ tier.

What artwork do you need from us?

The highest-resolution file you have. A few practical notes from printing these:

  • Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are ideal for logos — they scale to the disc without softening.
  • PNG with a transparent background is the next best thing. A logo on a white square prints as a logo on a white square.
  • 300 DPI minimum for raster art. A logo pulled off a website is usually 72 DPI and will look fuzzy at disc size.
  • Watch thin lines and low contrast. Fine detail that reads on a screen can disappear on plastic.

Not sure your file will work? Email it to sales@discgolfswag.com before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will print well.

How far ahead should we order?

Turnaround depends on volume and time of year:

Order size Typical production time
Standard orders 2–3 business days
100+ discs 5–7 business days
Very large volumes Longer — ask us for a date before you order
Peak season (Christmas, Father's Day) Add extra time — demand runs high

Add shipping transit on top of production. As a rule, order two to three weeks before your event for a normal-sized order, and four to six weeks if you need 100+ discs or your event falls near Christmas or Father's Day. That covers production, transit, and leaves room to fix artwork or add players late.

If you have a hard date, tell us before you order and we will confirm whether it is achievable rather than letting you find out afterwards. Special-order molds we do not stock add 5–7 business days on top.

Which discs can we choose from?

We stock premium molds from major manufacturers at 170g and up — drivers, fairway drivers, midranges and putters, including glow plastics. For a league where players have different preferences, the practical move is picking one mold everyone can throw. A midrange or fairway driver suits a mixed-skill field better than a distance driver.

Want a specific mold we do not carry? Special order covers most brands and plastics.

Are printed discs tournament legal?

Yes. We print on PDGA-approved molds and the print meets PDGA regulations for sanctioned play. The design is fused into the disc surface rather than applied as a sticker or vinyl, so it does not change the weight or the flight. Players can throw them in a sanctioned round the same weekend they receive them.

What about mini markers?

Minis are the cheaper option when you need something for every attendee rather than every player, and their quantity discounts run deeper than full-size discs — up to 60% at 150 units. Plenty of events do full-size discs for the field and minis for spectators or sponsors.

Common questions

Do you invoice? Yes, on larger orders. If your club or company needs an invoice or a purchase order rather than a card at checkout, contact us before you order so we can set it up — the quickest route is the inquiry form on our Wholesale & Bulk Orders page.

Can we add a sponsor logo alongside our own? Yes — the designer supports layering text and images, and you see a live preview of the finished disc before you buy.

What if we need to reorder mid-season? Create an account and save your design; reordering the same disc later takes seconds.

Start your event order

Pick your mold, upload your artwork, and watch the live preview build before you commit. No minimum, no quote request, and the discount applies itself.
