If he plays disc golf, a personalized disc beats another flask, and it costs about the same. Each disc carries his title, his name, and your wedding date, printed into a real tournament-legal disc he will actually throw. Here is what to give each role, what a full party costs, and when to order.
What the groomsman disc is
A large topographic monogram of his initial, with his role and name beneath it and your wedding date underneath that. You type the details on the product page and a live preview redraws as you type — what you see is exactly what gets printed.

Worth noticing: six discs cost only $7.49 more than five, because six crosses into the next discount tier. If your party is five and there is anyone else you were considering — the officiant, a father, your own disc — the sixth is nearly free.
U.S. shipping is free over $50, so any party order ships free.
Who to give one to
- Best man and groomsmen — the core order, each with his own name. Four to six discs is the most common order we ship.
- The officiant — a specific, small thank-you for someone routinely left off the gift list.
- Both fathers — a monogram disc each, or the wreath keepsake if they would rather display it than throw it.
- Ring bearer — one of the few wedding-party gifts a child will genuinely use.
- Bridesmaids and maid of honor — the same titles are built in, and the floral design is the softer alternative.
- Yourself — the groom title exists for a reason.
Proposal discs: asking with one
A disc that reads "Best Man?" or "Groomsman?" is a better ask than a card, and unlike a card it becomes the gift afterwards. Order the proposal discs first, then a second set with their names for the day itself — or use one disc for both and put the question in the title field.
If you are doing proposal boxes, a disc sits flat and survives shipping better than most box fillers.
When to order
This is not a gift you need to plan months ahead. That said:
- Ordering for the party? Two to three weeks before you need them.
- Doing proposals first? Order those as soon as you have your list — typically six to nine months out.
- Adding someone late? Reorder anytime; each disc is independent.
Common questions
Can every disc have a different name? Yes. Personalization is per disc — add one to the cart, change the name, add the next. The discount is based on total discs, so six different names still price at the six-disc tier.
Which mold should I pick? If you do not know their games, a midrange or fairway driver suits the widest range of players. Glow plastic is available for a few dollars more.
Are they real discs? Yes. Premium plastics at 170g and up, on molds approved for sanctioned play. Nothing is layered on top of the plastic, so there is no decal edge to catch and lift.
What if someone does not play disc golf? The disc still works as a keepsake, but be honest with yourself — for a non-player, the wreath keepsake design reads better as a memento.
